Filigree...

The theme for the Etsy Embroidery Guild's Bead Fest challenge was Filigree, a theme I was keen to create for as it naturally "spoke" to me.
When a theme easily "speaks" to me, I don't usually want to overanalyse it. So for the Filigree challenge, I simply wanted to capture the feminine curves of filigree design that I love, the delicate lace-like graphics...

Here is a graphic of Filigree (http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s102/meluvpirates/Tattoo%20Ideas/ist2_5729096-fine-filigree-1.jpg) I came across this picture.

To emphasize the feminine, romantic evocation of filigree, I was naturally inspired to pick soft pink colored seed beads. However, I added few lime green beads to add a touch of spring freshness to the design.

Hope you like it and enjoyed my little account of this journey of inspiration and creation...
